Homestay in Victoria 5th day!!(12/27) I want to stay longer!

Thina & Mika & Hyun-sil & Saori

I got up early in the morning.

I ate breakfast, then I watched TV.

Yesterday Hyun-sil invited me to go to Downtown with her friend and her friend's Japanese friend.

Bill drove us to there and we met them.

Thina is Korean. Mika is Japanese.

Mika and Thina is roommate in their house.

Mika is 18 years old, so at first I thought she is same grade.

But she was a high school student.

We were surprised!

Then we were talking about the same and different things of Korean and Japanese culture.

I knew many new information.

We wanted to hang out more time, but I have to go back America and Mika also go back Japan.

We were sad,but I told Mika my address.

We were nice talking in English.

After we went back home, I and Hyun-Sil wrote a letter for each other.

We are food friends(^_-)-☆

Then I watched movie with host family.

It was a good movie!! I was almost crying...

Cindy,housemother, likes making something.

She gave me a present.

It is a photo diary. I 'm so happy!!

I thought I'm glad to meet this family☆

I really like this family and I want to stay longer!!!

I will miss this family after I leave the house.

I had a wonderful time with the family in Victoria, Canada.

Homestay in Victoria 4th day (12/26), After the Christmas☆

After the Christmas, today was a boxing day!!!
Do you know this day!?

Many shops are on sale! So many people went shopping!!

I went to Soppping Moll with Hyun-Sil.
We also went to Cindy's working shop to give some breakfast♪♪

Then we went to "future shop", electricity shop.
There were too many people in the shop.
I bought a memory card. Hyun-Sil bought music player, not i-pod.

Then we went to big Shopping moll to meet her friends, Nicole and Thika?.
I bought a hat and a daily note.
It cost about 10 dollars!!

And I met Japanese friends, Abu, Junko, Mayu.
I felt strange to speak Japanese because I have been speaking English everyday!!!

At night I played a video game with Jeffry. I won sometimes.

After Jeff, Jinda and Jaime went back home, I, Bill, Cindy and Hyun-Sil watched movie, Star Dust☆★
It a good movie, I think.

It's very fast to pass the time.
I 'm having really good time in Victoria☆


I thought to go back Japan today.
I don't want to go back Japan because I really like here and America, EWU!!! And now.

Now we can meet everywhere, talk any time, and hang out everyday with friends!!
And I can speak English every day!!

I think NOW is the best time in my life!!!

I want to keep this time.

12/25

It’s Christmas day!!
Santa came last night and put the present for everyone under the Christmas tree☆
And Host families and relatives also put many many presents under the tree.

I got up at 9:30.
Children came my house because there are their grandparents in this house.
We started opening presents!!!
There were many presents! We were opening from 10:00 to 1:30 (about 3.5 hours!!)!!

Children got many new video games, books, toy.
Adults got books, cups and etc.

I also got Christmas present from Cindy and Bill, Jaime and Homestay company.
I’m happy because I have never been given these many good presents!!
I thought I should have bought good present for this families.

I really like this family!!!

At night we ate Christmas dinner (with11 people).
We ate a lot of food, main menu was turkey, of course!!!
Then I watched The pirate of Caribbean.

It was the best Christmas day in my life☆★

Homestay in Victoria Third day 3日目(12/23)

We went to a movie theater today.

We watched The Golden Conpass.

It's difficult for me to understand.

And this story would continue because it didn't completely finished.

It cost about 10 dollars.

It is Chistmas Eve tomorrow!!!

There are already many presents under the tree☆

I'm looking forward to coming tomorrow!!

Homestay Secound Day (2日目)

Host father guided me the downtown.
we went to a harbor, a bank to get my Canadian money, the oldest hotel in Victoria and shopping moll.

Victoria is cool and beautiful place, I think!
But I can't understand the bus route from downtown to my house.
I need to memorise this!!

Then I went to The Butchant Gardens in the evening.
I went to there with Korean friends.

We met at downtown on 3:30.
We wanted to catch the bus about 4:00, but we missed the bus!!
So we went back to the McDonald's and Chapters (book store).

We caught the bus about 5:00.

The Butchant Gardens's illumination was so beautiful!!
I took many beautiful pictures☆
I also took the picture with Huun-sil!!

We had a good time!!

During we were going back our house, she was feeling bad.
I was worried about her.
But we could catch the bus quickly.

At night I watched movie, Harry potter and order of the phoenix with host father☆
During the movie, he was sleeping...and I was so sleepy because I was really tired(；一_一)

Today I went to many places and watched beautiful things.
It was nice day♪♪

Victoria, Canada １日目☆

I arrived to Victoria, Canada in the morning for the first time!!!

I'll do home stay from Dec.21 to Dec. 28. My host family name is Unwin family!!

They have another home stay person. She is Korean. She is 22years old, so nice and beautiful person!! She'll stay 24 weeks in this house.

I took a picture with her. We will go to Victoria's Downtown with host family and her friends tomorrow.

And today was host family's daughter 's birthday party!!!! Many people and children came the house and did the barbecue and watched 2 movies☆

I was sleepy and tired today... But I effort to talk a lot in English!!

A Limousine Tour☆

I rode a limousine for the first time☆ We watched Christmas illumination of American house.

A limousine has a large space and many glasses.

We are 20 members. The limousine can sit just 20 people.

Before we rode, we ate Japanese food at Sushi.com, Japanese restaurant

The limo parked in front of the restaurant.
And the limo tour started☆
We dressed up and took many pictures.

I didn't have dress, I borrowed my friend's.

I decided just before the day.

At first I was thinking to go, but reached the fixed number.

I always said I wanted to go!!!

Just before the day, when I was eating at the dinner with my friends, a IPA asked me going the limo tour.

Then I and my friends could go the tour because 2 people canceled the tour.

I and my friend were so glad!! I'm lucky person!!

We talked and took picture. My feeling was gorgeous!!

Everyone looked funny!!

I think I can't ride the limousine in future.

It is a good memory in America☆★

America can grant many kinds of dreams!!!

My Penpal☆

We went to elementary school to meet each pen pal.

My pen pal names are Jaimee and Ashley☆
But Ashley was absent, so I played with Jaimee!!

She is a little shy. She can play Violin. I watched her music class. About 15 people were playing Violin and Viola.

It was exciting class.


I gave her a small present, bookmark.
I changed her name to Kanji.

Jaimee was difficult, but I like her Kanji.

They also gave me very nice present.
Jaimee gave me a pretty dog doll♪♪
Ashley gave me a nice blanket❤

Every students are pretty and active!!

I had a good time with her in elementary school☆

HarryPotter and The sorcerer's stone

I bought HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER'S STONE.

I love Harry potter, but I have never read the books.

Today I bought the first book because I thought I want to read the book and long sentence like TOEIC quickly!!

I thought Harry Potter is the best book that I read(^O^)／

It's cold today. Everyday it is snowy, but today is also windy. I wouldn't go outside.

I will make spaghetti with Taraka sauce, wafuu kinako sauce and tomato sauce for dinner in my dormitory ♪♪

ThanksGiving !(^^)!

My roommate's name is Margo.
She is a nice person. I always say my friends that my roommate is the best in EWU.

I went to my roommate's house near the Seattle for Thanksgiving holiday.
I stayed 5 days(11/20~11/25/2007)

Her family was friendly!! Her mother is a good chef☆ She made the traditional food.
I ate many new American food. That was so delicious♪♪

And Her father, bothers and a sister also are friendly.

On Thanks giving day we went to her uncle's house. Other her family gathered his house, maybe about 20 people!!

There were many traditional food and many kinds of dessert.

We ate a lot of food, of course Turkey too.
I ate Turkey with cranberry sauce for the first time.


Then I played with children and slept...


We took 5hours from Cheney to her house.

Her boyfriend drove after the class. I was just sleeping.

I went to many places. I went to her high school. It was a big high school.

And I went to a movie theater and gym with her family. Her family is active and has many hobbies.
I also went to her best friend's house. It was her 20th birthday.
So her family and Margo and I congratulated on her birthday☆
She has a small child. She is so cute❤

I had a grate roommate for me in America.

Seattle 2!!

☆NBA☆We watched NBA game(Seattle Sonicks VS Detroit Pistons). I really like watching basketball game, so I was excited!!

Our seats were 127 section, 8 row.

These seats were great because they were too expensive.

We paid a lot of money.

The game was sooo exciting☆

I haven't ever seen this exciting game!!!

A large American audience and we shouted, cheered and stood!!

Detroit is a strong team. In fact, at first Sonicks were losing , but after half time, Sonicks got the same score.

At the end, Sonicks lost the game. But we couldn't have guessed victory or defeat of the game.

We watched a nice game(^_-)-☆

Seattle!!

I went to Seattle with my friends.

The first day, we went the first Starbucks shop in the morning♪ This shop is near the sea.

And we went shopping in Uwajimaya and Kinokuniya. Uwajimaya is very nice Japanese shop!! like Japanese supermarket.

We bought Japanese foods about 50dollars and a magazine in Kinokuniya☆

After the shopping, we wanted to go back the hostel. It was at 6:30. It was dark outside.

But we didn't know the bus routes, so we walked with two girl friends.

The street was so dark and there were few people.My friends were more afraid than me.

We walked so quickly!! And a hour later, we went back the hostel!

We relieved（*^_^*）

There are many Starbucks shops in Seattle.

And there are a lot of high buildings like Shinjuku.

The running cars look expensive.

That's different from Spokane...

Seattle is a urban city.

Our hostel was near the sea and the Space Needle.

That was a great view from the Space Needle(^_-)-☆

Sonisoni came to EWU!! I'm so glad(^_-)-☆And we had dinner with 10pani friends♪♪

ソニソニが来てくれてホントうれしいー！！！やっぱり日本にいる友達が来てくれるってホントにいいわぁ～❤しかもソニはうちら１０パニのお姉さんだしね★

私も久しぶりにみんなそろって話したり、ゲームやったりご飯食べたけどやっぱり１０パニは最高の班だね☆

久しぶりに涼やちからともテレ電してしゃべったし！

まぁ、あいつらはホントにアメリカにいても根っからのバカだっていうのがわかっただけだけど。。。　

１日目にソニ達のバスがパンクして一時はどうなるかと思ったけど、ちゃんと泊まれたし、最終日にもみんなで朝までたくさんしゃべれてホント楽しかった！！！（●＾o＾●）

でも次の日ホント見送りいけなくてゴメン！！普通に寝てた～～～(；一_一)ｚｚ　でもソニソニも私の部屋にマフラー置いてったし、週末シアトルで会えたらいいね☆

まぁでもまた何ヶ月かしたら会えるしそんときはゆーやも一緒にみんなで会いたいね♪どっか旅行行こう～❤

Homecoming Day☆★

This week is Homecoming Day☆
Homecoming Day means maybe playing many kinds of sports games in EWU.
I saw a football game and a basketball game today.

A football game is exciting, but it was soooo cold today. Maybe it was about 10℃. My friend brought a big blanket. But cold　　(ーー;)　So I had patience...

The game won today. I was glad!!
Today I saw football game and basketball game in EWU.
Homecoming Day means maybe playing many kinds of sports games in EWU.

Basketball team in EWU is strong. Of course won!! I saw American basketball game for the first time. And I like playing and watching basketball. That was exciting(^_-)-☆

I will go to Seattle next week to watch a NBA game♪♪ I want to go right now!!!

１０月３１日、Halloweenがきました！！


ちなみに私のコスチュームは”パイレーツ”でーす★でも海賊は結構かぶるって思ったから、負けないために顔にペイントをして、髪もスプレーで真っ赤にしてみました❤

でも衣装はかぶらなかったし、男装した人もいなかったから、けっこうこの格好気にいったよ！！
みんなも格好良いって言ってくれたし、海賊にしてよかった！！！

It was Halloween!!

I saw a Frankenstein and a Devil and many interesting people in the morning.
And after the class, I saw many children to stand in a line to get candies.Children and their parents wore many kinds of costume. Children is cute and pretty（*^_^*）
I wanted to say "trick or treat!" with children.

In the PUB I ate special Halloween dinner. All you can eat for 9 dollars. That was good(^O^)／ I saw the brain made from jelly. I was surprised because I was so real!! I couldn't eat it...

The Halloween party started at 8p.m. in Pearce☆
Many people came there and took pictures each other. Everyone wore interesting, cute, cool, scary and beautiful costume. My costume was a pirate!! I think my costume is so cool! And I painted my face and dyed my hair red!! I was a real pirate（●＾o＾●）

After the party in Pearce, we went to LA all to hold the another party♪

The party was dancing party! and costume contest☆
Of course Japanese people got all prizes!!

I took pictures with many friends and got candies!!
I really like Halloweenヽ(^o^)丿

I had a great time and wonderful memory❤

Pumpkin Carving!!

I and my Japanese friend and a campus friend made "Lion Pumpkin"!!!!!!

That's COOL☆ we spent much times, but we made different (not traditional) pumpkin.


This pumpkin was made by my friends.
The title is "Halloween DORAEMON".
I can't see the DORAEMON,but I like it☆

I wanted to make one more Pumpkin, the traditional style!!
Many people made many kinds of each Pumpkin. Everything was nice!!
I want to carve the Pumpkin next year!

It'll be "Halloween" tomorrowヽ(^o^)丿!!

The Halloween party will hold in Pearce and LA hall.
I'm glad that the party was held in my dormitory because few Japanese lived in Pearce have the birthday during AUAP, so the birthday party rarely hold.

I bought the Halloween's custume!
So I'm looking forward to coming tomorrow（＾◇＾）♪♪

Pizza Party!!

We held the Pizza party in my friend's room☆
My friends ordered 2 large pizzas and breads.
My friends ordered after we came back from North town mall. So we started to eat at 10p.m.

We were so hungry. We quickly ate all. After the eating, we talked and sing Japanese songs.
We sang many DOUYOU. We thought Japanese songs are very nice!
And I talked with my friend until 5 a.m. Then 4 people slept on a bed.

Pizza order is class's homework. So I ordered before.
I hardly eat the pizza in Japan. But Pizza is my favorite food now.
I want to order pizzas again and hold Pizza party with my friends!(^^)!

Ice skating!!

I went ice skating in Spokane.

This activity was AUAP activity. So I went with only Japanese friends.

It cost 2.75 dollars!! So cheap!

I have been skating twice when I was a elementary student.

I thought it's easy and exciting!

But it was difficult(；一_一)　I fell down twice...and my pants wetted.

But That was exciting（*^_^*）I want to go again♪

Basketball game

I watched basketball game. My friends played the game. American VS Japanese

At first J team was losing, but finally J team won!! So the game was so exciting☆But my friend hurts legs and body every time. That's too bad...

We will go to Seattle to watch the game. I'm really looking forward to November!!!

Next game is next Monday! I want to go watching the game again★

Vollyball game

I went watching the vollyball game. My friends played games.

They joined and are playing in vollyball club. So they are good players and how strong team!!

Yesterday they won the game, of course☆ Many friends and I cheered them.

And today there is a basketball game!! I like playing and watching the basketball（＾◇＾）So I 'm looking forward to watching the game tonight. I will cheer loud voice✌

Hiking In Arizona state

ハイキングに行ってきました～！！

はじめてWashington以外の州に行けてなんかうれしかったッ★ちなみにここはArizona州で～す♪

湖すごいキレイでクルーザー持ってる人がいっぱいいた！天気も快晴☀でキレイな景色が見れました（*^_^*）

I went hiking with my friends. This was activity for AUAP students.

There were beautiful lake! and nature!! We walked 3.2km about 90minutes. During walking, I said "Hi!" and "Hallo!" People were walking and running with the dogs. People was friendly☆

After the hiking, we ate the American food restaurant. I ate only a cheesecake. But that was taste good!(^^)!

Then we watched and walked on the lake. Of course, I walked on the bridge on the lake! That's exciting!!!

Kana&Lisa's birthday party!

Morissonでのパーティーすっごい人いて盛り上がってたぁ！まぁ、マイコーとけいし君が一番だけどね笑

I　went to Morisson Hall to celebrate Kana. Oct.13 was Kana and Lisa' 19 birthday! Many japanese people came to the party!! They were throw cakes. We ate many cakes and snacks. chocolate cake is very good☆ These cakes are made by boys. Kana looks so funny!! That was good birthday party(^O^)／

Bowling

We went to bowling with my friends and my roommate and roommate's friends near the EWU last week.
My total score was 88. I want to accomplish 100!
but I was NO.3 (8 player).
And I ate the pizza. That was good pizza. I want to do there again!

Justeen's sister♪

Justeen☆me☆Lili☆NobuJusteen's sister came my class. Her name is Lilia, nickname is Lili. She is a beautiful girl☆ Her age is15th, but she looks 20years old! I was surprised!!

Justeen is my teacher's assistant and good friend（*^_^*）I went to watch Harry Potter❤ with her! Her English is so clear so I can hear her speaking. And I speak in English.

She is a good friend☆

River cleaning

I went to Spokane river to clean. How beautiful place!! Japanese river is dirty, but American river and park is beautiful and no trash. I was surprised! I thought American river is dirty because there are many first food shops in America.
There are many trees and river in Spokane, but aren't in Tokyo(；一_一)
So I like nature. I want to do BBQ with my friends there! That should be exiting（＾◇＾）/♪

Spokane & Satoshi&Akachan's Birthday party!

Yesterday and today I went to Spokane with my friends. We went to a secondhand clothes store and a shopping mall. I bought so many clothes. I spent a lot of money in America for the first time!! I bought new shoes and a bag. That was good shopping☆

After we came back, we held my friend's birthday party in Pearce!

Their name are Satoshi and Akachan (nickname)!! They were 19 years old!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY(^O^)／

Many people came from other dormitories. And they threw cakes to Satoshi and Akachan's faces. Look the pictures! My friends made these cakes. Tastes good（＾◇＾）　

And some people played the billiards, other people took many pictures in Peace Hall .

Breakfast

I recently eat too much in the morning.
These pictures are my breakfast. I eat fruits and salad everyday. And breakfast tastes not too bad.
I am eating breakfast so much, but lunch and dinner are less than breakfast.
However I ate special dinner (big stake) yesterday. OH,MY GOD!!!


I went to exercise twice. So my legs are painful(ToT)　My favorite exercise class is a kickboxing class. After the class, I thought I am strong!! That's fun☆

毎日どんどん食べる量が増えていくような気がする。。。まぁでもちゃんとサラダも果物も食べてるから逆に東京よりもバランスは取れてるかもしんない笑

でもアイスとかお菓子とか頻繁に食べてるし、夜中とか関係なくなってきてる↓(゜o゜)ヤバ～！！

Fire alarm!!!

なんか練習かと思って楽しくなって写真撮りまくちゃいました。でも原因はジーパンが燃えた本当の火事で、しかも私の階の一つ下の階！で後で行ったらフロア全体が焦げくさかった笑　まぁそんな大惨事にならなかったからよかった(^o^)丿

I played table tennis(ping-pong) and piano at11:30p.m . Suddenly the big sound rang in my dormitory. It was fire alarm(emergency alarm)!!! I was said that if the fire alarm rang, we have to go out side. But sometimes there are practices. So I thought that was a practice, but I went out.

A fire engine came in front of my dormitory. Everyone went out. But It was at night , rainy and so cold... That' too bad(=_=)

The cause of the fire alarm rang was not a practice. That was real fire accident!! The accident's cause was burning the jeans. Someone put the jeans under the light. It's a annoying talk!!<`ヘ´> Moreover the accident happened 9th floor. My floor is 10th floor!! It was dangerous for me! But I was in 1st floor. So I didn't need to use the emergency stairs from 10floor. My roommate and my friends used stairs from 10th floor. So I was lucky☆ But I was tired(－－〆)

Today I went to streeter hall(my friend's dormitory) with my friends. It was first visit. We talked to my friends and my friend's roommate in my friend's room. During We were talking , the fire alarm rang. I thought "Streeter too!!! Oh,no(ToT)↓↓ I experienced 2times during 2days. But it was a practice. It's also a annoying talk for me!!

アメフト全然ルールわかんなかったけどおもしろかった！！でもめっちゃ寒かった(；一_一)

I watch a American football game in EWU. I didn't know the game rule, but that was so funny! Men looked so strong. And American cheers are loud, strange but interesting and cute☆

We painted our face♪ I and a boy painted full face! So I was talked some strangers."Nice painting!!" I can't do this painting in Japan. So I did(^o^)丿

It was soooo cold. It was maybe winter!! We wore many clothes and bought some coffee.

Then the game started at 6p.m. We cheered all time! But the result of the game was lost. The score was 28-21.

After the game, I watched many fire works. How beautifull!!! I took many pictures. I didn't think to see the fireworks. So I was gald.

I think that was nice game and I could feel the American culture（●＾o＾●）I want to watch again. But I have to understand the game rule, then I will have more good time!!

TGIF☆

It's Friday! TGIF☆ Today I went to watch a movie, of course Harry Potter❤　I have seen that movie 5times. But I watched only English movie for the first time. It was difficult to listen to only English movie. But I have watched that 4times in Japan. So I can understood what Harry said(^_-)-☆ The screen in IMAX theater was so big!!! Maybe the screen is 4times as big as japanese big theater. So the movie was more dynamic!! I went the theater with my japanese friend and American friend. Today I used much English!! I had a good time（●＾o＾●）
